Relação solo–planta–produtividade e análise econômica do cultivo do açaizeiro (euterpe oleracea mart.) adubado com npk no cerrado do Amapá

Abstract

The açaí palm (Euterpe oleracea Mart.) is a palm tree of great cultural and economic importance to the Amazon, whose growing demand has led to the expansion of its cultivation to upland areas (terra firme), such as in the Amapá Cerrado. However, this region presents acidic soils with low fertility, requiring specific nutritional management practices. This study aimed to evaluate the productivity of irrigated açaí palms, the plant height and diameter at breast height, as well as the chemical attributes of the soil (pH, calcium + magnesium, and phosphorus) in response to mineral fertilization with nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, and its economic benefits in different soil sampling locations in a Cerrado area. The experiment was conducted in an area with açaí palms established nine years ago, using a randomized block design with a fractional factorial arrangement, testing four levels for each fertilizer. Adequate nutritional management, including N, P, and K fertilization, is fundamental for the successful cultivation of the açaí palm in upland areas in the Amapá Cerrado. The optimized fertilizer doses not only maximized productivity, reaching 13.384 kg/ha, but also proved to be economically viable, offering a sustainable alternative for production and the strengthening of family and corporate agriculture in the region.
