Implantação e consolidação do Centro de Referência em Educação a Distância Pedra Branca do Amapari do Instituto Federal do Amapa (2014 – 2024)

Abstract

This research is part of the research line Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (EPT), focusing on Macroproject 4 - History and memories in the context of EPT of the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education in the National Network (ProfEPT), and addresses the historical process of implementation and consolidation of the Pedra Branca do Amapari Distance Education Reference Center of IFAP, from 2014 to 2024. To this end, applied research was adopted as the methodological procedure, using a qualitative approach with an exploratory purpose. Data collection was carried out through bibliographic and documentary research and semi-structured interviews. The data analysis used the content analysis technique, applying the three stages advocated by Bardin (2016), namely: pre-analysis, exploration of the material, and treatment of the results. As an educational product, an interactive website entitled “The Trajectory of the Pedra Branca do Amapari Distance Education Reference Center of IFAP” was developed. This website allows for the recovery and preservation of the Center's institutional memory, highlighting the pioneering spirit and obstacles faced by the staff who were part of its history, as well as presenting the advances that marked the offering of technical courses in the distance learning modality. Therefore, it is hoped that this study will contribute to the recording and appreciation of the institutional memory of the Pedra Branca do Amapari Distance Education Reference Center of IFAP, reaffirming the importance of Professional and Technological Education offered in the distance learning modality.
