Abstract

The present research is linked to the research line Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (PTE) of the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education in the National Network (ProfEPT) and aimed to analyze the implementation, organization and activities of the Publisher of the Federal Institute of Amapá (EDIFAP). The methodology used involved a qualitative approach, proceeding with document analysis (ordinances, resolutions, regulations, and institutional development plan) and semi-structured interviews. The Snowball technique was used for selecting the interviewees. The treatment of the collected information was carried out based on content analysis, and the data analysis was theoretically and methodologically based on some concepts of Actor-Network Theory. Based on the research data, an educational product in the form of a comic book was developed with the aim of contributing to the dissemination of the implementation, organization and activities of EDIFAP. After the analyses, obstacles faced in the implementation of the publisher were identified, such as the lack of own physical space, qualified professionals, material resources, and exclusive budgets. It was found that there is little information available about the publisher, which makes this research relevant for understanding its history. Based on Actor-Network Theory, it was observed that EDIFAP is the result of an association/interaction process that has occurred over the years, and the actions related to its implementation, organization, and realization include different actors, both human and non-human, which are equally important for the formation of the EDIFAP network.
