O pedagogo em ambiente hospitalar: uma proposta para a unidade de pronto atendimento Florence Souza

Abstract

This research discusses a topic of great relevance and fundamental importance focused on the role of hospital educators in a health environment. The theme is justified due to the importance of the professional in pedagogy working within a health unit, in the teaching process with hospitalized children. And for that, the research took place through a bibliographical and documentary study, of an exploratory nature. In which, initially, a literature review was carried out, as a means of research that "allows the search, critical evaluation and synthesis of available evidence on the investigated topic" and, consequently, a field research at the Florence Souza service unit, UBS in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood, in the city of Macapá, carried out through direct observation of activities and interviews with employees of the unit, on the aforementioned theme. And by theme, it brings the results of the research carried out in the field, through result graphs. We conclude the work understanding that the hospital educational action is part of the various transformations that our country has been going through in the dichotomous attempt to place education and health as a right of all citizens, even though legally recognized, the educational practice in the hospital environment , still does not have recognition in this space and in the academy.
