dc.description.abstractThe present article investigates the level of education and awareness about gender and race issues in the workplace in Laranjal do Jari. For this purpose, a quantitative method was used, applying questionnaires to 62 workers from different sectors. To analyze the obtained data, descriptive statistics and variable analysis were employed, using cross-tabulation to identify relationships between the variables. The results indicate that the majority of participants have some level of knowledge about the addressed issues, but there is a significant need for further depth and sensitization. It is concluded that educational policies and continuous training are essential to promote a more inclusive and equitable work environment.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO presente artigo investiga o nível de educação e conscientização sobre questões de gênero e raça no ambiente de trabalho em Laranjal do Jari. Para isso, utilizou-se o método quantitativo, com a aplicação de questionários a 62 trabalhadores de diferentes setores. Para analisar os dados obtidos, utilizou-se estatística descritiva e análise entre variáveis, com uso da tabulação cruzada para identificar as relações entre as variáveis. Os resultados indicam que a maioria dos participantes possui algum nível de conhecimento sobre as questões abordadas, mas há uma necessidade significativa de maior aprofundamento e sensibilização. Conclui-se que políticas educacionais e treinamentos contínuos são essenciais para promover um ambiente de trabalho mais inclusivo e equitativo.pt_BR
