Empreendedorismo informal: uma análise acerca da informalidade no município de Laranjal do Jari-AP

Abstract

Informal entrepreneurship is a very common practice in many regions of Brazil, especially in less developed cities, where formal job opportunities are scarce and inhabitants need to look for another way to survive. This article’s theme is Informal Entrepreneurship: an analysis of informality in the municipality of Laranjal do Jari – AP, with the general objective of analyzing the reasons that led informal workers in Laranjal do Jari to work informally and the reasons why they still haven’t formalized their business. The specific objectives aim to identify the main difficulties faced by informal entrepreneurs and highlight the advantages of formalizing your enterprise as an individual microentrepreneur (MEI). Thus, to achieve these objectives, a literature review was carried out, whose methodology is descriptive, using a qualitative-quantitative approach, a questionnaire was also applied to informal entrepreneurs in the municipality of Laranjal do Jari – AP, in order to identify the profile of these entrepreneurs and obtain data to better understand this research.
